Ontario has submitted an Express Entry immigration invitation to apply for a regional nomination

Candidates who have been invited by the Ontario Immigrant Program (OINP) may qualify for the Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream.

Also, the Ontario Program is inviting Immigrant Express Entry (OINP) candidates to apply for a county nomination provided they have work experience in one of the following ten professions:

1-Registered nurses and psychiatric nurses

2-Banking, credit, and investment managers

3-Business Service Managers

4-Professional careers in business management consulting

5-HR professionals

6-Corporate sales managers

7-Financial and investment analysts

8-Financial auditors and accountants

PGWP holders in Canada can apply for the new open work permit.

The Canadian government has a new policy to assist former international students who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic while staying in Canada.

Whereas, PGWP holders in Canada will be able to apply for a new open work permit until July 27, 2021.

And now up to 52,000 people are eligible for a new Canadian 18-month work permit.

New open work permits for PGWP holders.

Starting today January 27th, international students staying in Canada with PGWP are allowed to obtain a new one-time open work permit which will be valid for 18 months! Applications to extend post-graduate work permits will be open till July 27, 2021.

To apply for an open work permit as an extension of your PGWP post-graduate work permit, you must:

1) have a PGWP that expired on or after January 30, 2020, or a PGWP that expires in 4 months or less from the date they apply, and

2) still be in Canada, and

3) have a valid temporary status, or be applying to restore their status.
